Quick Peach Cobbler


Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz) peach pie filling
  • 2 cups frozen sliced peaches, thawed
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 TBSP sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 TBSP butter or margarine, softened
  • Add'l sugar, if desired
  • Ground nutmeg, if desired

Directions

  1. In ungreased 8-inch square pan, spread pie filling and sliced peaches; place in cold oven. Heat oven to 400°F; let pie filling and peaches heat 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix Bisquick mix, 1 tablespoon sugar, the milk and butter with fork until soft dough forms.
  3. Remove pan from oven. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto warm peach mixture. Sprinkle with additional sugar and nutmeg.
  4. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until topping is light brown.
