BBQ Crock Pot Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups ketchup
  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cayenne (red) pepper powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients for the sauce in the crockpot.
  2. Add the chicken. Coat it well with the sauce.
  3. Cook on high 3-4 hours, or until chicken is fully cooked all the way through.
  4. Shred or cut up the chicken, and replace it in the BBQ sauce in the pot.
  5. Mix it all up so the pieces are coated.
  6.
You can keep the crockpot on low to keep the chicken warm for serving. Serve on sandwich rolls.
Note: The original recipe called for 2 tsp red hot pepper flakes, but I grabbed powder instead, and only used half.
